Foot Wear
Shoe modifications
We do shoe raises, rocker soles and many other foot modifications
Specialised footwear/shoes
Off the shelf specialised shoes are available in different depths and width to accommodate many different foot sizes and shapes as well as catering for diabetic patients. We stock Dr Comfort, Podowell and Revere.
Custom shoes/boots
For some an off the shelf shoe does not cater for their specific needs. Custom shoes are an option. We make a last specifically to the shape of the individual’s feet and Groundcover, a local shoe manufacture, uses the last as a base to make the shoe around.
Orthopaedic Shoes imported from France. Suitable for patients suffering from Diabetes, Bunions and other foot conditions. Used in conjunction with orthotics. |

Diabetic footwear is constructed to protect the feet and provide comfort. And many times, diabetic shoes are viewed as bulky and unattractive. However, health and fashion can co-exist. The Dr. Comfort way is to provide beautiful colors and styles to wear every day—just like regular shoes. We believe if you don’t love your shoes, you won’t wear them—thereby negating your health. |
